3 Reasons to get Printed Photos Over Digitals

An opened photo book

You’ve just had a photo session and you’re thinking you just want to get all of your images on a flash drive. You don’t need all those other print options the photographer mentioned. After all you can just get the images printed by yourself at any time right?

Well here’s 3 reasons why I think you should get your photos printed instead:

  1. You get something tangible in your hands
  2. You can display your prints
  3. Prints offer variety
1. You get something tangible in your hands

Having all your prints may be great. But what do you do after you have them? Do you leave them on the flash drive in a desk drawer? Or do you upload them to be a screensaver on your desktop? If you’re anything like me, you’ll feel good walking away with something you can hold in your hands. Something you can see. Something that takes you back to that exact moment and brings a smile to your face. Digital images on a flash drive don’t give you that same feeling.

2. You can display your prints

Once you place an order for your favourite images, these are ready to frame or hang anywhere in your home or office. Place that family photo on your desk. Or walk through your home and see your loved ones smiles covering your wall. Doesn’t it mean a lot to see those precious memories every single day?

Doesn’t it make more sense that they aren’t tucked away in your desk, but are proudly displayed? And you get to tell the stories of those moments when any one asks.

3. Prints offer variety

With print you have plenty of options. You could choose between regular (gift-sized), canvas, acrylic or PVC prints. Gift sized prints range from 4 x 6” to 8 x 10”, while canvas, acrylic and PVC and go up to 20 x 30″. Images can also be printed and provided in an album, customised to meet your needs with a photo, fabric or leather cover.

You get to choose how best you want your memories to be seen and displayed.

If nothing else, remember this. You took the time to take those photos with the ones you love most. So shouldn’t you also take the time to consider having them displayed? You and your family look gorgeous in those photos, so why not hang them or your walls at home or office, so you could always see them?
