Meet Korena Darnelle
Barbados Event and Portrait Photographer

Growing up, I always loved photography, especially black and white images. They just seemed to speak to me. And finally seeing those negatives develop in the darkroom after manually dodging and burning, brought a sense of pride and joy.
But it wasn’t just that…
I get how intimidating it can be to stand in front of a camera,
whether for a professional portrait or just chilling with friends at an event. Especially when you have no clue what to do to ‘bring out your good side’…
I get it and I know exactly how that feels to be camera shy.
I’m camera shy too…
But I know taking a photo that can last forever, is better than not having any at all.
